The prenatal program, located at the Valley View Health Centers’ Waverly and Portsmouth locations, works in association with local OB/GYN offices in Portsmouth, OH. Tiffany Harris, CNM (Certified Nurse-Midwife) and Carolyn Pettit, CNS (Clinical Nurse Specialist) are the primary providers of these services, along with a clinical staff of two registered nurses and prenatal educators who have many years experience working with prenatal patients.
We know that no two pregnancies are the same. Therefore, the nurses and providers work with each woman to develop an individualized prenatal care plan. At each visit, the expectant mother has numerous opportunities to ask questions and is offered prenatal education specific to that visit.
Our staff is available five days a week for questions or concerns that cannot wait until the next appointment, and there is an answering service for after-hours emergencies. Our goal is to address all the concerns of the expectant mother and father; and to work together to ensure every baby gets the best start possible. We are always accepting new patients! Please call our Waverly office at (740) 947-7726 or our Broadway office (Portsmouth) at 740 370-4234 for more information, we look forward to getting to know you and your family over the next nine months!
